I have been practicing in addiction medicine for 2+ years. I have experience in providing methadone and buprenorphine management in a daily dosing (OTP) setting along with prescribing buprenorphine in an outpatient setting (OBOT). My husband and I started this practice together to provide treatment for opiate substance abuse disorder in a comfortable setting where patients where patients feel welcomed and valued.
Dr. Meyette comes to StatCare to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. He graduated from St. George’s University in 2003. Dr. Meyette completed Residency in 2006 at Munson Medical Center/Michigan State University, Traverse City, MI. He received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2006. Dr. Meyette is a member of the American Medical Association.
Originally from Canada, Dr, Busigin immigrated to the United States in the year 2000. He became a flight instructor, charter pilot and was an airline pilot. He graduated from the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in 2014. He completed residency in 2017 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and is board-certified in Family Medicine. Since 2017 he has been practicing has a Hospitalist and joined StatCare in 2022. He enjoys spending time with his family, travel, tinkering on projects, and paragliding.
Dr. Patel comes to StatCare to practice in the field of hospitalist family medicine. He graduated from University of Silesia in 2008. Dr. Patel completed Residency in 2013 at The University of Alabama. He received his board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine in 2013 and remains currently certified.
First, and above all, I have a wonderful family whom my life is dedicated to. My husband, Phillip, my daughter Logan, and my twin boys, Jayce and Camden. I spend my free time chasing my kids around mostly! But, otherwise, I love to spend any free time I do have outdoors, rain or shine. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 2017 and Master's of Science in Nursing in 2022, both from East Tennessee State University. I have a 5 year background in cardiovascular and pulmonary critical care medicine. My passion for family practice started with taking care of patients on their deathbeds in the ICU, as well as living through tragedies within my own family. I knew there was a significant need for preventative medicine in today's society, and this was the Lord's reason for the losses in my life; to put me in a position to help prevent families and patients from suffering. I have a special interest in women's health from teens to older adults. The most important lesson my dad taught me before he passed was to never give up, and never quit anything, nor anyone. I was once told that a good provider treats the disease, but a great provider treats the person who has the disease. I strive to never stop trying to give my patients the best quality of life achievable.
