Eva was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and moved to the Rio Grande Valley with her family at age 10. She graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2017. Eva received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List. After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru. Eva then attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual and motivated to help the Corpus Christi community in their skin needs. Eva’s interest in helping the community and passion for overall skin care is what drove her to pursue a field in dermatology; her interest was further motivated during her clinical rotations. Regina Nicholson, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology. At their offices in Mansfield, Regina has been a team member since 2021. 

Raised in Colleyville, Texas, Regina graduated from Colleyville Heritage High School. She then received her Bachelor of Science degree at Clarion University in Clarion, Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude. Regina majored in biology and secondary education.

Regina later graduated with an associate’s degree in medical assisting from Butler County Community College in Butler, Pennsylvania, in 2016 and began her career in Dermatology. In 2018, Regina received a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She worked at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Dermatology Clinic treating patients, as a study coordinator for psoriasis studies, and preceptor for Physician Assistant students. She competed on UGA’s NCAA Equestrian team where she was named All-American four years, obtaining a National Championship and two SEC Championship titles. She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky. Liza began her dermatology career in south Florida where she practiced general and surgical dermatology for 2 years before moving to Texas. She has since earned the title of Diplomate Fellow as a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Being a native Floridian, Liza recognizes the importance of skin care and prevention of sun-related ailments. She is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine.
