I'm a nationally certified Physician Assistant with a background in musculoskeletal care, trauma, and bone health. A proud San Antonio native, I’m honored to care for the community that raised me. My medical career began as an EMT, medical assistant, and Army medic. After PA school, I spent three years specializing in Orthopedic spine surgery. I’m passionate about helping patients in San Antonio and the surrounding areas stay active, reduce pain, and return to activities they love. I truly enjoy being part of Dr. Simon’s team and value the collaborative, patient-centered care we provide. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing volleyball, traveling, and getting lost in a good book.

After graduating from business school, I began my career as an orthopedic sales consultant for Smith & Nephew Inc. While working in the operating room daily in both trauma and total reconstructive cases, I developed a strong interest in surgery and decided to attend PA school. Upon graduation, I practiced in neurosurgery in Tampa, FL for 2 years and am now excited to be back in the orthopedic field working for Dr. Fox and the Fox Team.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Alex, and daughter, Avery, attending church, running, cycling, swimming and watching Indiana Hoosier sports.

Robert F. Yerrington MD.,PA, has served the community of San Antonio, Texas, for about four decades. He offers his expertise in anti-aging, regenerative, and integrative medicine to help his patients at Flourish Wellness Center achieve optimal health.

Dr. Yerrington attended undergrad at Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa, before completing his Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He went on to round out his training with a residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.

Dr. Yerrington is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is certified in aesthetic medicine. He has also completed fellowship training in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. Dr. Yerrington has a fervent dedication to holistic medicine; his unique approach addresses the body, soul, and spirit. Board-certified in Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine, Andrea Pana, MD, has treated patients in various settings since 1994. Her expertise is in Sports Medicine and the care of Musculoskeletal Injuries. Dr. Pana sees patients throughout Austin and San Antonio, Texas, at Serenity Medical Centers. 

After receiving her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from George Washington University, Dr. Pana completed a Family Medicine Residency at UCLA and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. She also served as a physician in the United States Air Force. 

Dr. Pana has treated athletes for every major college sport as well as professional and Olympic athletes. She served on the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine Board from 2008-2012. 

Academically, Dr. Pana has been involved in educating physician assistants, medical students, residents, and athletic training students. She has several publications relating to concussions in athletes and has assisted in editing the 5 Minute Sports Medicine Consult. Dr. Pana has joined Serenity Medical Group to help care for patients with work-related injuries and active patients in the area with musculoskeletal or sports-related injuries. 

In her free time, Dr. Pana enjoys swimming and walking. She also enjoys movies and exploring all the local family-friendly events with her 8-year-old son.

Dr. Melissa Ann Walker is a family medicine physician and the owner and founder of Carol Clinic for Family-Centered Healthcare in San Antonio, Texas. Carol Clinic is named for her late mother, Mrs. Carol Williams Walker. Dr. Walker has made it her mission to provide education to not only her patients, but to the entire world. She also continues to play an active role in her local community. She was recently appointment to the advisory board of San Antonio’s Rivard Report. Dr. Walker also strives to give back as a mentor to students pursuing a career in medicine. She likes to report a 100% success rate with her mentees over the years. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the newly-opened University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Melissa Marie Kempf was born and raised in San Antonio.  She left for Lubbock, TX to 
attend college at Texas Tech University and then stayed for Medical School.  She spent 2 of 4 
years in Lubbock and 2 years in El Paso where they have a secondary campus.  Family 
Practice Residency was done in Conroe, TX at the regional hospital. The residency program 
was associated with UTMB Medical School at that time.   She then spent 3 years in the USAF, 
stationed at Keesler, AFB in Biloxi, MS.  During those 3 years she deployed to Incirlik, Turkey 
for 3 months during Operation Enduring Freedom, providing coverage in the Emergency Room 
for active duty personnel, their families and local Turkish people.  After the Air Force, she 
moved back to San Antonio to be closer to family and has been here ever since 2004 along with 
her only daughter Zoe.  Medicine runs in the family.  Her older brother, Dr Kevin Kempf is a 
Rheumatologist in San Antonio as well.  Currently she has a busy practice doing primary care, 
urgent care, personal injury, workers compensation, hormone replacement therapies and 
treatment for incontinence as well as evaluations for dementia.   She does minor injections like 
trigger points and also joint injections as well as minor procedures like toenail removals, 
biopsies, and suturing lacerations.  

Brianna Kay, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in New Braunfels and Gonzales and San Antonio.

She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2012. After graduation, Brianna sub-specialized in medical and surgical dermatology and completed a 10-month internship with a board-certified dermatologist in New Braunfels, TX. 

She earned the title of Diplomate Fellow under the Society of Dermatology PAs (SDPA). The SDPA Fellowship Program represents the standard in dermatology physician assistant education, allowing graduates to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional patient care in dermatology.

Brianna has been practicing dermatology for over nine years. She is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine, focusing on helping her patients to understand their health and skin care needs. She advocates for skin cancer prevention and takes the time to address her patient's questions and concerns. 

Due to personal experiences, Brianna takes a special interest in auto-immune conditions, such as psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa. Whether treating complex auto-immune diseases, or more common skin conditions such as acne or eczema, she has a very thorough and proactive approach to help her patients reach their maximum quality of life!

When Brianna is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage daughter. Growing up in a military family, she frequently moved as a child and found a love for traveling. Her artistic hobbies include painting, crafting, and epoxy resin. Brianna lives in New Braunfels, Texas, and is excited to continue serving her local community.

Elizabeth Finsness, or “Liza”, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Dallas, TX.

She graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She competed on UGA’s NCAA Equestrian team where she was named All-American four years, obtaining a National Championship and two SEC Championship titles. She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky. Liza began her dermatology career in south Florida where she practiced general and surgical dermatology for 2 years before moving to Texas. She has since earned the title of Diplomate Fellow as a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Being a native Floridian, Liza recognizes the importance of skin care and prevention of sun-related ailments. She is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine. She is well versed in medical dermatology as well as surgical dermatology. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, traveling, exercise, and spending time with family and friends

Eva Hinojosa, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Eva was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and moved to the Rio Grande Valley with her family at age 10. She graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2017. Eva received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List. After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru. Eva then attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual and motivated to help the Corpus Christi community in their skin needs. Eva’s interest in helping the community and passion for overall skin care is what drove her to pursue a field in dermatology; her interest was further motivated during her clinical rotations. Prior to her arrival at Heights Dermatology, Eva specialized in Internal Medicine in Mcallen, Texas. She is passionate about providing evidence-based care and enjoys staying up to date with new techniques and products out in the market. She prioritizes the importance of patient education and preventative medicine.

Eva received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Dr. Tejas Desai, DO. She practices in the areas of general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Eva is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Eva enjoys exercising, spending time with her loved ones, and traveling.

Blake Lausen, PA-C, is a skilled physician assistant practicing at Northeast Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, which has locations in Schertz, Live Oak, New Braunfels, and two in San Antonio, Texas. 

Originally from Storm Lake, Iowa, Blake brings a strong foundation in musculoskeletal care and patient-centered treatment to orthopedic practice. After practicing as a chiropractor for four years, he decided to pursue physician assistant training to broaden his scope and provide more comprehensive care for his patients.

Blake is excited to use his education and clinical experience to serve the San Antonio community while continuing to grow in the field of orthopedics.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his spouse, staying active, going to the gym, hiking, and traveling. He has visited 30 countries and values opportunities to explore new places and cultures.
