Dr. Marie Sohner is a co-founder of New Life Wellness & Medical Spa and a board-certified OB/GYN who has proudly cared for the women of Tomball and the surrounding communities for more than 40 years.
Before co-founding New Life Wellness, Dr. Sohner practiced alongside her husband, Dr. Michael Rodriguez, at Tomball Women's Health Care, a practice Dr. Rodriguez founded nearly 50 years ago. Together, they have cared for generations of families and have had the privilege of delivering thousands of babies—so many, in fact, that patients often joke they have "delivered half of Tomball." Their decades of compassionate care have created lasting relationships with families throughout the community.
When New Life Wellness was founded more than 12 years ago, Dr. Sohner led the wellness side of the practice with a passion for helping patients improve their overall health, address the root causes of illness, and reduce their dependence on prescription medications whenever possible. She believes true wellness comes from treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and partners with each patient to create personalized treatment plans that support lifelong health and vitality.
Known for her compassionate bedside manner and dedication to patient education, Dr. Sohner has earned the trust of generations of women and families. Chris Simpson, MD, is a family medicine physician practicing at Dickinson Family Medicine Clinic, located in Dickinson, Texas. He has been dedicated to practicing family medicine since 2018. Hayden Orgeron, MSN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Hayden is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and attended University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduating, Hayden moved to Houston, TX where she worked as a cardiac nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital prior to obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing from UT Health Science Center. She specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Hayden strives to provide quality, patient-centered care and wants every patient to feel heard. Mitzi Laughlin, PhD joined Houston Methodist in 2022 and made an immediate impact in Orthopedic research. She is a former athletic trainer who worked at Alief Hastings High School and Rice University. After earning her doctorate from the University of Houston she began working at NASA treating astronauts after injuries or spaceflight to the International Space Station (ISS). In 2016, she was awarded a 5-year, million dollar grant to study the time course of muscle atrophy during ISS missions. Currently, the focus of her research includes quantifying patient outcomes following orthopedic surgery and identifying factors that determine individual variations in return to sports and training.

Hammad Zaidi, MD, is an experienced family medicine physician at A&U Family Medicine in Sugar Land, Texas.
