Eugenio Rodriguez, MD, is an experienced wound care specialist practicing at Wound Care Associates, located in Delray Beach, Florida. Relying on his years of experience and keen medical expertise, Dr. Rodriguez provides comprehensive care for trauma, burns, and a myriad of other severe injuries. 

Dr. Rodriguez completed his undergraduate education at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology/pre-med. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico in 1986, again graduating magna cum laude. 

After graduating, Dr. Rodriguez completed his postgraduate training at the San Juan Veteran Affairs Medical Center and the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. Soon after, he relocated to Florida, where he completed a clinical and research fellowship in trauma at Tampa General Hospital under Alexander Rosemurgy, MD. 

Today, Dr. Rodriguez is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery. He is also an integral part of the trauma and surgical team at Delray Medical Center, which is one of four Level 1 trauma centers in the South Florida area. Laura J. Peralta, DO, is a board-certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with more than 30 years of experience. As a family medicine provider, Dr. Peralta provides outstanding patient-focused care for adolescents and adults at AssociatesMD in Weston, Florida.    

Dr. Peralta grew up in South Florida and graduated from McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida. She earned her nursing degree at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, and then returned to her home state of Florida to work as an emergency room nurse before starting medical school.  

Dr. Peralta earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. She’s an active member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA).
