I earned my BSN in 1984 and, after many years of direct, patient care, I completed my MS as a family nurse practitioner in 1998 where I became a member of Sigma Theta Tau honor Society. I have served in multiple clinical settings with experience from newborn through geriatric care over my long career.
Along with general medical care I have a strong secondary interest in primary care mental health issues including ADHD (KS only), Depression, Anxiety, and Mood disorders.

I Graduated with Bachelor of science in Nursing from Washburn University in 2017. Upon graduating nursing school, I worked as a nurse in the Emergency Department. I continued my education and earned my Master of Science in Nursing FNP in December of 2020. I worked with specialties such as neurology and pediatrics before deciding to go full family practice. I am Certified through American Academy of Nurse practitioners as a Family nurse practitioner. While most of my background is emergency care, I naturally enjoy urgent care visits My favorite types of visits are same day problems and illnesses as I feel like I am helping the patient when they need it most!I do enjoy primary care as well as I get to build lasting relationships and care for my patients through the lifespan.
