Following his chief residency, he completed gastroenterology fellowship at Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic.
His medical interests include general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel diseases, esophageal motility disorders. In his spare time, he is passionate about playing soccer and watching his favorite team, Arsenal. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, and two daughters.
Board-certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Sanjay Jagannath, MD, AGAF, FASGE, brings a wealth of experience to the team at Wake Endoscopy. He sees patients throughout Raleigh, Cary, Clayton, and Wilson, North Carolina.
Growing up in Maryland, Dr. Jag graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency training at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Returning to Baltimore, he completed both his Gastroenterology Fellowship and Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and joined the clinical and teaching faculty. Dr. Jagannath was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins, was the Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Program, and authored numerous research and academic publications. He lectured both in the United States and internationally. Dr. Al-Sabbagh is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed his residency at Englewood Medical Center in New Jersey, which is affiliated with Mount Sinai University Program. Dr. Al-Sabbagh has over 20 years’ experience in gastroenterology diseases. He will be seeing patients in all offices on a rotating schedule.

Dr. Battaglino was born in upstate New York and remained in the Empire State for the majority of his education. After receiving his medical degree at New York Medical College, he completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NY. Following his residency, Dr. Battaglino relocated to North Carolina to complete his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Duke University.
He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He joined Raleigh Medical Group in July of 2000 and has since been an invaluable member of our Gastroenterology Team. He treats a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases, but has a more focused interest in inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Battaglino lives in Raleigh with his wife Tracy. He spends most of his free time enjoying activities involving his four children. Farah Hussain, MD, is a distinguished gastroenterologist dedicated to providing superior digestive health to patients throughout Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Clayton, and Wilson, North Carolina. Dr. Hussain was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Baghdad, Iraq. She received her medical degree from the University of Sulaimani School of Medicine in Sulaimani, Iraq. She completed her internal medicine residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and her gastroenterology fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She did an additional year of advanced endoscopy fellowship at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Hussain is board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology.
In addition to managing various general gastrointestinal conditions, Dr. Hussain's clinical interest and particular focus are on complex esophageal diseases and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). She has expertise in managing complex esophageal diseases medically and endoscopically. Her research experience during training was centered on understanding the molecular basis of different GI diseases, in particular Barrett’s esophagus. This research experience has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the pathogenesis of the disease.
Dr. Hussain has enormous pride in the quality of care she provides for her patients, and she tailors the care to their specific needs, whether that will be listening and reassurance or performing an elaborate procedure. She aspires that every time a patient leaves her office, they have a clear understanding of the disease process and the plan to manage it.

Dr. Reddy earned her medical degree from S.V. Medical College in Tirupati, India. From there, Dr. Reddy completed both her Internal Medicine residency and her Gastroenterology/Hepatology fellowship at the State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook.
Dr. Reddy joined the practice in January 2008. The majority of her practice is concentrated in the Raleigh and Cary areas.
Dr. Reddy is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Reddy’s clinical interests include high risk colorectal cancer screening, genetic testing, Crohn’s disease/ulcerative colitis, IBS, celiac disease, dysphagia/achalasia, eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE), GERD, hepatitis, and other liver diseases.
She is involved in several ongoing clinical trials such as bowel prep studies, intractable GERD, and Crohn’s/colitis trials.

Andrew Lange, MD, FACP provides comprehensive gastroenterology care at Wake Endoscopy. He is proud to provide a compassionate approach to patient care for the communities of Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Clayton, and Wilson, North Carolina.
Dr. Lange grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and then went on to obtain a Master of Science in physiology from Georgetown University. He pursued medical training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Medical Honor societies while studying at Tulane.
Following his graduation, Dr. Lange completed his internal medicine residency at Yale University. He remained on the medical staff at Yale-New Haven Hospital as an attending physician in hospital medicine. Dr. Lange completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Lahey Clinic in the Boston area before joining Wake Endoscopy in 2022.
Dr. Lange’s clinical interests include eosinophilic esophagitis, colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and hepatology. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts on topics in gastroenterology. He finds the most fulfillment when connecting with patients through active listening and compassionate care of the entire patient.
He lives in Cary with his wife and daughter. He is an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Liverpool Football Club. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, cycling, traveling, and toddler gymnastics classes with his daughter.
Neeraj Sachdeva, MD, is an accomplished gastroenterologist on the team at Wake Endoscopy. He is proud to serve patients throughout Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Clayton, and Wilson, North Carolina.
Dr. Sachdeva grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated with honors from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, a magnet school of math and science. He pursued his medical training mainly in New York, completing his medical degree and internal medicine residency training at New York Medical College.
After residency, Dr. Sachdeva served on the medical faculty at New York Medical College before relocating to Chapel Hill. He completed his training with a fellowship in gastroenterology from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Sachdeva is board-certified in both gastroenterology and hepatology.
He joined the practice right after graduating from UNC. The majority of his practice is concentrated in the North Raleigh and Wake Forest area.
