Ahmed Rashed, MD, is an interventional cardiologist at Premier Cardiovascular Consultants. Currently, he will be providing patient care at our Troy, Michigan. His research interests include ischemic preconditioning and the role of mechanical circulatory support in shock and myocardial infarction. Dr. Rashed has been a reviewer for several medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Rashed enjoys spending time with his three children, biking, soccer and traveling.
