Jessica Taff, MD, is a triple board-certified Hematologist, Medical Oncologist, and Internist. Through her leadership role at Coastal Hematology & Oncology Center, Dr. Taff is honored to serve the communities of Toms River and Forked River, New Jersey, where she was born and raised.
Education has always played a central role in Dr. Taff’s life. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Dr. Taff went on to complete her residency at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. She also completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at NYU Langone Medical Center, and was again selected to serve as Chief Fellow for Hematology/Oncology.
While there, Dr. Taff was named Fellow of the Year, and selected to participate in the highly competitive research Conference ASCO/AACR Workshop in Methods in Clinical Cancer Research in Vail, Colorado, and worked the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. After attending Bergen Catholic High School, Dr. Shajan earned admission to an 8-year BS/MBA/MD program, completing his bachelor’s degree at Union College in Schenectady, New York, his Master of Business Administration through Union Graduate College, and then received his Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College in New York in 2012.
