Mary Alaina Burbage graduated with a Master of Science Nurse Practitioner degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Nursing from Georgetown University. She has been working in primary care as a family NP since 2016. Before that, she was an RN at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Her patient care philosophy is founded on the Jesuit ideal of cura personalis, caring for the whole person. She is passionate about primary care and the importance of preventative medicine to help keep you healthy. She originally went into nursing with dreams of working in Africa and has done several medical and community volunteer trips including to Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Peru, and Guatemala.
