She earned her medical degree at Universidad Iberoamericana in Dominican Republic and completed her residency training at BronxCare Health System, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Bronx, New York.    Her clinical interests include High risk pregnancy, Fibroids and Minimally Invasive procedures.   Dr. Phipps is board-certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Kir-Wei Chen, MD is a skilled and dedicated OB/GYN in Coconut Creek, Florida. Dione Occenad-Nimmo, MD, FACOG, is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is known for providing compassionate care to her patients and for her servant leadership within the community.

Dr. Occenad-Nimmo attended undergraduate at the University of Miami where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with minors in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Biology. She received the highest honor at the University of Miami by obtaining membership into the Iron Arrow Honor Society. While studying in medical school, she passed her nursing licensure exam (NCLEX) and became a registered nurse. She received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Occenad completed her residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. I have practiced on the Treasure Coast for 35+ years. I currently provide only office Gyn services as listed below. I stopped delivery babies and no longer go to the hospital. I have wonderful Gyn-Oncs I refer my cancer patients to, and we have many talented gyns in our community still doing surgery. I I do not see as many new patients these days, but Erika does. I am a listener and a very straightforward communicator. Patients like that I tell it like it is. I will encourage you to quit smoking and loose weight, but will not harp on it. I am not a primary care provider and will try to help you out until you are 50 and then you need a PCP. Folks often tell us we give concierge level care at insurance prices. We try to return calls the same day, notify you of test results promptly, BUT we are not sitting at a computer refreshing the page like you may be :).
