Dr. Shalonna Battle is a women’s health nurse practitioner with over 13 years of clinical and nursing education experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida Memorial University, a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Miami. a masters of science degree in nursing from Frontier University, and finally a doctoral of nursing practice degree from Florida Atlantic University. Although school has played a major role in her success as a clinician, it is the hands-on clinical experience that has really groomed her into the healthcare provider she is today. She is experienced in caring for women across the lifespan. She manages all women’s health concerns which include, but not limited to common gynecological concerns and disorders, family planning and reproductive care, caring for women who are survivors of abuse and sexual assault, recurrent and chronic vaginal infections, perinatal care, and postmenopausal concerns.

Brittany Marinelli, MD, is an experienced provider dedicated to advancing women's health through compassionate, patient-centered care at Elite OB/GYN in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Yessy has over 15 years of experience in gynecology care. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. While pursuing her graduate education, she received clinical experience through several medical clinics around Florida. 

She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and she currently is licensed to provide home aid. 

At Aventura OBGYN Associates, Yessy provides comprehensive women’s health care in English and Spanish, working alongside a compassionate team to treat all gynecological-related concerns. She specializes in managing hormone replacement, abnormal Pap smears, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), birth control, and other issues. 

To stay-up-date on the latest treatments, Yessy holds professional membership in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Tina Mehta, DO, FACOOG, is a diligent OB/GYN who brings a compassionate bedside manner and a wealth of experience to her patients at Elite OB/GYN in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Mehta grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Arts and Sciences, where she graduated with high honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She began her medical career while an undergraduate, with summer research externships at the Cleveland Clinic of Florida in Weston and the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
