I, Lorena Tinoco, MD, am excited to open my doors and welcome you to my new state-of-the-art obstetrics and gynecology private practice located in South Miami where the patient’s well-being and satisfaction are my sole inspiration.

I believe in practicing excellent medicine by using innovation and technology, but also by giving my patients direct access to me. I also believe that providing continuity of care with the same doctor, a doctor that knows you and cares for you, is key to a successful health outcome.

In my practice, I intend to dedicate all my time, education and effort to help my patients with their health needs and also to obtain an outstanding patient-doctor relationship where patients feel they are being heard and not treated like just one more.

As a female bilingual OB/GYN doctor, I can deeply understand and connect with woman's needs of different cultures. The Center for Urogynecology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery is a leading provider of state-of-the-art healthcare services for women throughout the South Miami, FL, area. The practice features a relaxing environment and advanced technology aimed at providing patient-centered care for issues like menopause, infertility, pelvic organ prolapse, endometriosis, and incontinence, using cutting-edge approaches including FemiLift® laser vaginal rejuvenation and robot-assisted da Vinci® surgery. In addition, the practice offers cancer screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and ovarian cancer, including routine screening and screenings for women with specific risk factors for cancer.

Under the direction of Dr. Rafael Perez, M.D, F.A.C.O.G., the staff at the Center for Urogynecology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery is dedicated to providing patient-centered care aimed at helping women of all ages enjoy optimal health and wellness. Dr. Rafael Perez received his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins affiliated Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. Dr. Perez is double-board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and urogynecology, having trained under two of the most influential doctors in their respective fields: Dr. James Dorsey for laparoscopic surgery and Dr. Alf Bent for urogynecology. At Center for Urogynecology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Dr. Perez is committed to providing the highest level of individualized care to his patients in a warm and trusting environment.

Dione Occenad-Nimmo, MD, FACOG, is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is known for providing compassionate care to her patients and for her servant leadership within the community.

Dr. Occenad-Nimmo attended undergraduate at the University of Miami where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with minors in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Biology. She received the highest honor at the University of Miami by obtaining membership into the Iron Arrow Honor Society. While studying in medical school, she passed her nursing licensure exam (NCLEX) and became a registered nurse. She received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Occenad completed her residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. As a resident, she was awarded the Helen Lansman Award as "the resident who has shown the greatest compassion towards patients” during her training. After residency, she did 2 years in private practice in the Broward area, followed by 7 years as an OB/GYN Hospitalist in the Broward and Palm Beach area.

Dr. Occenad-Nimmo is happily married and has 2 children. She enjoys learning more about spirituality, spending time with her family, reading, running, and being involved in organizations. Since 2012, she has held several leadership roles in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG) and is currently serving as the ACOG Early Career Fellow Representative for District XII (State of Florida & Columbia). She is a staff member at Palms West Hospital and serves on the Peer Review Committee for the hospital. She is also a proud member of the T. Leroy Jefferson Medical Society, William A. Little Obstetrical and Gynecological Alumni Society, Florida Medical Association, National Medical Association, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and The MOMCo.

In her practice, Dr. Occenad-Nimmo strives to provide evidence-based care and stays up to date with ACOG guidelines. She is a strong advocate for women and women’s health. She enjoys learning about people and different cultures. Dr. Occenad-Nimmo is proficient in Spanish and Haitian Creole and looks forward to serving a diverse population. Daxa Patel, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN and a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. As part of the team at Complete Healthcare for Women in Wellington, Florida, she provides patients with excellent care with a compassionate bedside manner.

Dr. Patel earned both her Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and joined Complete Healthcare for Women in 1999 after completing rigorous training in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Patel is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Florida Obstetricians and Gynecologists Society, the Palm Beach County Medical Association, the Palm Beach County Obstetricians and Gynecologists Society, and the William A. Little Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.

She also enjoys membership in the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the Female Indian Physicians of Florida and the Palm Beach India Medical Association. She is a staff member at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Florida, and at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, where she has served on the Medical Executive Committee and as well as the  Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, she serves on the Medical Board of Governors on the Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Patel is widely sought after in her practice for her skills in progressive women’s medicine and her focused and comforting care. She maintains an air of respect and compassion for her all of her patients, whether she’s delivering a baby or performing a complex surgical procedure. She feels women have very individual needs at various times in their lives and understands every woman’s journey is different.

Colette Brown-Graham, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology who provides patients with skilled and dedicated care at Complete Healthcare for Women in Wellington, Florida.

Dr. Brown-Graham graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and earned her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami. She then relocated to Boston, where she completed her OB/GYN internship and residency at Boston City Hospital, and earned an additional Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in maternal child health from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Brown-Graham has served on the faculty at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, and served on the Medical Executive Committee at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, where she was previously the Chairman of the OB/GYN department. She maintains staff positions at Wellington Regional Medical Center and Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Florida, and is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Brown-Graham is a member of the Palm Beach Medical Society and T LeRoy Jefferson Medical Society.

In her practice, Dr. Brown-Graham likes to stay at the forefront of advances in obstetric and gynecologic care and has extensive knowledge in the latest techniques in robotic surgery and operative hysteroscopy. Outside of her practice, she’s a passionate advocate for women’s health issues, and she spends a great deal of time working with community organizations to bring better medical care to all women. Being fluent in Spanish allows Dr. Brown-Graham to better care for women of diverse backgrounds.  

Board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians & Gynecologists in 1998, Dr. Lisa Hearing has been practicing in the Palm Beaches since 1996. In April, 2001, she opened her solo Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in her hometown of Jupiter, Florida. Dr. Hearing did her post graduate residency training at the University of Florida Health Science Center, Jacksonville. She graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine with her doctorate in 1992 and from the University of Florida with her Bachelors degree in 1988. Dr. Hearing is known for her personable, warm nature and precise surgical and obstetrical skills. She strives for excellence in her medical acumen while developing and maintaining close & enduring relationships with her patients. In today’s changing healthcare environment, this personal one-on-one care is Dr. Hearing's forte; she is able to maintain a state of the art ObGyn practice and office while offering each patient the individual attention.
