Dr. Pichardo completed her undergraduate education at Emory University in Atlanta. She later attended medical school at the Morehouse School of Medicine, also in Atlanta. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, and had the distinct honor of serving as administrative chief resident. I went into medicine in order to become an obstetrician and gynecologist. I fell in love with the obstetrical part of women’s care because of the involvement in the miracle of birth.
