Dr. Ahmad earned his medical degree in 1998 and completed his residency training at HMC in Flint, MI. Dr. Ahmad is triple Board Certified in Obgyn, Minimal invasive gynecology & pediatric & adolescent Gynecology. He is a clinical professor of OB/GYN for MSU College of Human Medicine. Dr. Ahmad is the Chairman of Obgyn at HMC. Dr. Helmick has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2009 in private practice. Upon completion of her medical residency from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, she joined the practice of Associated Obstetrics and Gynecology, PC with offices in both Bloomfield Hills and Clarkston. Dr. Helmick grew up in the metro Detroit area, where she has only been away from during her undergraduate years at Albion College and her medical school years at MSU. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for Obstetrics and Gynecology at St Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital, where she has held many other volunteer positions in the past as well. She also is an active gynecologic surgeon at the same hospital with performing both routine gynecologic procedures along with a special interest in female pelvic floor and urinary disorders. Dr. Helmick greatly enjoys providing minimally invasive surgical options, especially through robotic surgery, to allow her patients to undergo quality of life-improving surgeries with rapid recovery. Dr. O’Shell grew up in Walled Lake, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University earning her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her OBGYN residency locally at Providence Hospital in Southfield. Dr. O’Shell joined Associated Obstetrics and Gynecology in September 2020.

She feels fortunate to be able to provide comprehensive care to women, ranging from normal/high-risk pregnancies and preventative gynecologic care to the care of postpartum depression, abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal pap smears, birth control counseling, vaginal infections, hormone replacement therapy, and more. Dr. O’Shell is trained in minimally invasive gynecologic, pelvic and robotic surgery and is certified in da Vinci robotic surgery. She loves that this specialty allows her to follow her patients through all stages of life, beginning with adolescence, transitioning for many into pregnancy, then through mid-life, and ultimately through menopause.

Dr. O’Shell is married to her husband Chad. They have a 6-year-old dog, a boxer known as “Chip”, and have a little boy on the way, arriving June 2021.

Dr. Corsi has been practicing OB/GYN medicine for 23 years in private practice. Upon completion of his medical residency from Wayne State University he joined the practice of Associated Obstetrics and Gynecology with offices in both Bloomfield Hills and Clarkston. Dr. Corsi grew up in southeastern Michigan and feels very much ‘at home’ serving the community in which he was raised. He is currently the director of Minimally Invasive GYN Robotic Surgery at St Joseph Mercy Hospital. Here he has educated and trained many residents over the years in minimally invasive gynecological surgery. Dr. Corsi specializes in complex gynecological issues using robotics including: removal of uterine fibroids to preserve fertility, treatment of endometriosis and treatment of pelvic prolapse. He appreciates using new and advanced technology to improve outcome and recovery for his patients. While Dr Corsi is very involved in GYN cases, he loves the experiences of the miracle of birth with his patients through obstetrics. Dr. Corsi expresses that he believes in a strong physician/patient relationship to work towards physical health. Laura J. Hazely, MSN, CNM, joined the midwife team at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in 2016. She is proud to provide the highest quality of women's health care to patients in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan.

In 2014, Laura completed the Nurse-Midwife Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago with her master's degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Laura has always had a passion for women's health. As a Certified Nurse-Midwife, she provides well-woman and gynecological services but especially enjoys providing family-centered pregnancy care. She also has a special interest in breastfeeding and postpartum support.

James McBride, M.D., is a dedicated pro-life OB/GYN and co-founder of Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. He sees patients in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan, at all three of the practice's offices.

Dr. McBride has helped instill the belief that compassionate, sensitive patient care provided in state-of-the-art facilities reflects unyielding respect for the patient. He has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, infertility, and minimally invasive surgery. 

Dr. McBride earned his medical degree from MSU College of Human Medicine, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, finishing in 1998.

Dr. McBride is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also belongs to the Christian Medical and Dental Society of America.

Dr. McBride is married with five college-age children. In his free time, he enjoys watersports and hiking with the family.

Dr. Chae was born in South Korea and moved to Canada with her family at a young age. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at University of Windsor where she also received her Master of Business Administration which she completed in Rouen, France. She worked in hospital administration in Toronto before pursuing her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

During her medical school, she was recognized for her service to the community and received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award for her compassion in delivery of care, respect for patients and their families. She completed her residency at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and was active in the Michigan Section of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Chae is passionate about women’s health and empowering women through education and advocacy. She enjoys taking care of patients at all stages of life. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgical techniques including robotic surgery, general and high risk obstetrics, contraception counseling and menstrual irregularities. She values providing individualized care and shared-decision making with her patients.

When not in the office, Dr. Chae enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She loves traveling, riding on her peloton and doing craft projects. She is looking forward to meeting and caring for patients at Oakland Macomb OBGYN.

At Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., Meghna Dhir, D.O., is proud to partner with women throughout Rochester Hills, Troy, and Lenox, Michigan, in their healthcare journey. 

Dr. Dhir grew up in Clarkston, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University in East Lansing for her undergraduate training, followed by West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical degree. Dr. Dhir completed her residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. 

During residency, she served as Resident Education Chair and joined the Obstetric Initiative Committee, where she worked toward improvement initiatives in maternity care. Dr. Dhir received certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery, as well as the da Vinci (R) Robotic System. She also had the honor of working as Chief Resident in her final year.

Eleni Pittenger, M.D. is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of women’s health care to patients in the metro Detroit area.

Dr. Pittenger attended The University of Michigan where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University’s School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. In residency, she was recognized for excellence in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Pittenger is passionate about not only minimally invasive surgery, but also making women’s health care accessible to all women. She enjoys educating and advocating for her patients.

Staci Hopkins, M.D., is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist bringing ten + years of experience to the team at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan. Dr. Hopkins strives to create a personal and fulfilling relationship with each of her patients.

Dr. Hopkins was raised in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University in East Lansing for her undergraduate training, followed by Michigan State University College of Human Medicine for her medical degree. Dr. Hopkins then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Chicago, Illinois, at Rush University Medical Center. She was chosen as chief resident during her final year, and upon graduation received the Excellence in Surgery award, presented by the attending physicians.

Dr. Hopkins has an amazing breadth of knowledge in all things Obstetrics and Gynecology. Elise Wallace, M.D., joined Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in 2005. She is proud to provide comprehensive care to patients throughout Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan. 

Dr. Wallace spent her undergraduate years at Indiana University in Bloomington. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, graduating with honors in obstetrics and gynecology. Following medical school, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. 

She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Some of her areas of interest include high-risk pregnancies, emerging contraceptive options, perimenopausal gynecological care, infertility, and minimally invasive surgery.

Jennifer Peng, M.D., is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in the care of women of all ages at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. Dr. Peng sees patients at the practice’s two convenient locations in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan. 

A native Texan (Howdy!), Dr. Peng lived in California and Taiwan prior to moving to Michigan. She started college at 16 years old and went to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she completed her degree in Neuroscience in three years. 

Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Peng went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Texas before moving to Michigan for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Beaumont-Royal Oak. While there, she had the honor of working as the chief resident in her last year and graduated with the Harold Longyear Award (Top graduating resident). 

Her clinical interests include general and high-risk obstetrics, management of abnormal Pap smears, contraception, PCOS, minimally-invasive surgical techniques, and breastfeeding medicine. Dr. Peng is board-certified as an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant).

Dr. Peng is interested in improving physician-patient communication and practices shared decision-making with her patients. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  

Dr. Peng is married with one child. She is a foodie and loves everything from the Harry Potter world (She is a Gryffindor with a streak of Ravenclaw). She also knows Chinese Mandarin (Reading, writing, and native speaker).
