Women’s Care of Beverly Hills, in Beverly Hills, California, is proud to welcome Dr. Naomi Suriel.

Dr. Suriel has been in practice for over 20 years, providing excellent general and high-risk obstetrics and gynecology care in Beverly Hills.

Born in Los Angeles and educated at UCLA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics/applied science, she went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree, completing her education at Rush Medical College in Chicago and graduating from SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, New York. She then completed a residency program in Ob/Gyn at Cornell-affiliated New York Downtown Hospital.

Dr. Suriel served as Medical Director of a woman’s health center in Manhattan Beach, California, prior to expanding her practice to include Beverly Hills in 1997.

Dr. Lia LaBrant graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Washington. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Robert Katz, MD, FACOG, is one of the physicians practicing at Women’s Care of Beverly Hills, an obstetrics and gynecology practice in Beverly Hills, California.

A native of Kashmir, Dr. Qadri cherished a dream of being a physician and surgeon like her father. As the valedictorian from her high school, she applied to medical school and won a full scholarship to one of the most prestigious medical schools in India, Government Medical College.

Dr. Qadri did her residency at Beaumont Health – Dearborn, one of the leading health care systems in the state of Michigan. She won multiple awards in residency including the SMFM (Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine) award for excellence in Obstetric care, the SASGOG (Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology) award, best Intern in her class, and multiple
CREOG achievement awards. She was also active in scholarly activities during her residency and led various initiatives for system-wide changes in the hospital. Her work was accepted in leading scientific journals and multiple research forums across the country including ACOG annual district and national meeting.

Dr. Qadri is a certified Da Vinci robotic surgeon in addition to being highly trained in all forms of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including vaginal reconstructive surgery) and looks forward to using her skills for the betterment of her patients.

Janet Vadaparampil, MD, is committed to providing exceptional obstetrics and gynecological services. Dr. Vadaparampil, also known as Dr. Vada, completed her medical degree through the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. She performed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Clark has a passion for healing and for improved patient outcomes. Following fellowship training, Dr. Clark was recruited by Hoag Hospital as the first Medical Director for the Womens Center for Continence. He received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing residency, he further specialized by completing a Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery ("Urogynecology") at Indiana University/Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Dr. Clark is nationally recognized for his surgical skills and teaches advanced surgical techniques to other physicians throughout the United States. In 2008, he was invited by the Jordanian government to teach advanced gynecology surgery techniques to the Ministry of Health Gynecology Division. Dr. Clark uses a wide range of surgical and laparoscopic techniques and a da Vinci® robot. Dr. Clark is an active member of the Orange County community having served as a youth soccer coach for over a decade and as a Scout Master in the Newport Beach Boy Scouts program. He enjoys hiking, camping and ocean sports. You may see him rowing a scull in the Newport Bay in the early morning hours. Dr. Clark is a family man and has been married to his wife for 35 years. Together they have four children. 

Yonatan Mahller, MD, Ph.D., provides expert obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages at Orange County OBGYN in Orange County. Patients can access a full range of services at his office in Newport Beach, California, where he offers well-woman care, care for low and high-risk pregnancies, pre-conception and infertility counseling and treatment for menopause. Dr. Mahller combines excellent surgical training with cutting-edge technology, including the MonaLisa Touch® laser that treats vaginal discomfort associated with menopause and urinary incontinence. Dr. Mahller is a native of Southern California. While at the University of California at Santa Barbara, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in physiology and a Master’s degree in molecular biology. While in graduate school, he performed significant preclinical research studies utilizing novel anticancer agents and authored numerous publications on topics such as cancer stem cells. He has given multiple presentations at international scientific meetings. During residency, Dr. Mahller created and implemented a course for OB/GYN residents, teaching them the Spanish needed to provide care to Spanish-speaking patients.

Dr. Lawrence Bruksch achieved his undergraduate degree in Biology at Northwestern University and his medical degree at the University of Illinois, where he graduated at the top of his class and with multiple honors, including selection to the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, one of only two OB/GYN physicians in Santa Monica so recognized. Dr. Bruksch founded Plaza Towers Obstetrics & Gynecology, which was the busiest OB/GYN practice at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 1982-2002 and has been the busiest practice at St. John's Health Center from 2002-2012. Dr. Bruksch has performed the majority of gynecologic surgeries for the practice over that time, gaining a wealth of experience in all facets of surgery.

His special interests are urogynecologic surgeries, pelvic reconstruction and multiple and high risk pregnancies. He has been voted "Super Doctor of Los Angeles" by his peers, "Patients' Choice" by his patients and recently received a commendation from St. John's Health Center for "Outstanding Patient Satisfaction".

Dr. Rastegar was born at St. John’s Hospital and grew up in Santa Monica, California. She attended local schools for elementary, middle and high school. Dr. Rastegar performed piano competitively and received the highest honor within the State of California, achieving membership into the prestigious Young Artists’ Guild.

However, Dr. Rastegar knew from a young age that her calling lay in medicine. She therefore chose to pursue a premed education at Stanford University, where upon acceptance, she was awarded the prestigious Presidents’ Scholar Grant for intellectual studies. Dr. Rastegar’s interest in women’s health could be evidenced as early as a prize-winning study of the effect of birth control pills on women’s health.

Following college, Dr. Rastegar spent two years at UCSF, involved in clinical researchon pulmonary disease. She then attended Case Western School of Medicine, in Cleveland, Ohio, where she did her clinical rotations at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. While in medical school, Dr. Rastegar received an award for her community outreach project on fish consumption in pregnancy. It was during medical school that Dr. Rastegar’s passion for women’s health led her to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Rastegar then returned home to Los Angeles and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She feels fortunate to be able to provide comprehensive care to women, ranging from normal pregnancy and preventative gynecologic care to the care of high-risk pregnancies, multiple gestations, individualized birth experiences, post-partum care, infertility, uterine, fibroids and polyps, abnormal pap smears, birth control counseling, painful periods, vaginal infections, ovarian cysts and more. Her rigorous training has also prepared her to handle a multitude of obstetrical and surgical emergencies. Dr. Rastegar cares for each patient as a unique individual, taking the time to listen and formulate personalized treatment plans.

Menopause brings serious health risks yet most of us do not receive information or treatments to mitigate these risks. As a busy mother of daughters, my perimenopause health challenges led me to a deep dive into the evidence. Taking the Menopause Society certification exam was the obvious next step and HeyElli, a modern menopause practice was born. As a Yale graduate, I am obsessed with the latest evidence. I intentionally develop mentoring relationships with other menopause providers so I can bring both the art and the science of modern menopause care to my clients. My clients want to live vibrant active lives, and appreciate a personalized approach. "Midwifing menopause" means education about options, hormone balance insights, and holistic guidance around nutrition, movement, mindset, sexuality, and sleep. I am a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, a Certified Nurse Midwife, and a professor of Nursing.
