Dr. Manish Gopal brings extensive expertise to treating women with pelvic floor disorders at the Center for Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, with locations in Somerset and Freehold, New Jersey.

The opportunity to make a dramatic impact on a woman’s quality of life inspired him to pursue urogynecology. Dr. Gopal’s training covers all forms of medical and surgical treatment for women with pelvic floor disorders.

Dr. Gopal graduated from the MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, also in Philadelphia. Dr. Gopal recently finished an accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, a premier women’s health program.

He has received funding from the National Institutes of Health for the investigation of geriatric epidemiology and completed a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sophia Lubin is a proud first-generation Haitian-American. She is a single mother of two outstanding young men, Tyler and Maxwell. Dr. Lubin is a board-certified OB/GYN and a native New Yorker.  She holds a BS in Biology from The City College of NY and obtained her medical degree from NYIT-New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her OB/Gyn residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, now Mount Sinai –Beth Israel. Dr. Sophia, as she likes to be called, is a committed humanitarian who has provided medical relief efforts in places like the Dominican Republic and Haiti. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, she was interviewed by Anderson Cooper and received a NYC Congressional Award for her work as a first responder. She continues to visit Haiti on an annual basis where she provides free OB/GYN care.

Dr. Yitzhack Asulin, MD is a pioneer and leader in minimally invasive surgical techniques and one of the world's most experienced gynecologic robotic surgeons. He is among the first surgeons in the U.S. to adopt robotic surgical technology nearly two decades ago and has successfully completed several thousand robotic gynecological cases.He has taught extensively in the area of minimally invasive surgery and trained a large number of surgeons using robotic surgery technology. 

He is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  After graduating from Saint George's University School of Medicine, Dr. Asulin completed an OB/GYN residency from Stamford Hospital / Columbia University college of physicians and surgeons in Stamford, Connecticut.
