After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, Dr. Firouz went to UCLA School of Dentistry to receive his Doctorate Degree. He attended University of Connecticut to receive specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1989. He returned to UCLA to teach and held positions as co-director and chairman of the pre-doctoral dental clinic. His research project in preventative orthodontics was published in the prestigious, American Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Yoram Kohanzadeh is a graduate of UMDNJ's Orthodontic program, now known as Rutgers University Hospital. He obtained both his DDS and BS from UCLA. Dr. Kohanzadeh prioritizes clear communication to make sure the best possible treatment outcome is obtained.
