Dr. Nicholas Stekas is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and the care of shoulder, knee, and hip conditions. He also served in combat with the 173rd Airborne Division and the 2nd Forward Surgical Team (FST) at a forward operating base in Afghanistan, with additional assignments at military hospitals in Kandahar and Bagram. For his exceptional care of both military and civilian casualties under combat conditions, Dr. Eidt was awarded the Bronze Star.

After completing his military service, Dr. Eidt relocated with his family to Southern California and joined South Orange County Orthopaedics as a partner, where he continues to practice today. He was also one of the early contributors to the development of the orthopaedic sports medicine community in the region, helping to expand access to specialized care for athletes and active individuals. When he's not in clinic or the operating room, he serves as a consultant and team physician for St. Margaret's Episcopal School's lacrosse team and San Juan Hills High School football. Previously, he supported Trabuco Hills High School and JSerra Catholic High School in the same capacity. He has also served as team physician for the U.S. Army 2nd Infantry Division's wrestling tournaments, along with numerous other local and regional athletic events.

Carlos Uquillas, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult and pediatric sports medicine as well as arthroscopy. He serves patients across Southern California and Los Angeles at his office in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Uquillas received his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine, where he had a scholarly concentration in clinical research and received a Leland Stanford Junior University Outstanding Graduate Mentor Award. Dr. Uquillas completed his residency at the prestigious Hospital for Joint Diseases at New York University Langone Medical Center, where he received the Eleanor Kauffman Award for Research in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery.
