Dr. Crawford completed his medical training in Chicago, IL, where he attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. Born and raised in Monterey, California, Gregg K. Satow, MD, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his orthopedic practice, helping patients in his hometown community overcome musculoskeletal issues of all kinds. From joint replacement to acute injury, Dr. Satow uses the latest techniques to restore function in his patients, allowing them to lead healthy, active lives.

As an avid sports participant and enthusiast, Dr. Satow specializes in sports medicine and has served as the team physician at Monterey Peninsula College since 1991 and the team physician at Monterey High School since 2002.

Dr. Satow’s general education started at Monterey High and continued at the University of California, Davis, where he was awarded a Regents Scholarship. Dr. Satow went on to earn his medical degree from UC San Francisco School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UCSF as well.

Board-certified in orthopedic surgery since 1993, Dr. Satow has recertified twice, in 2003 and 2012. To ensure that he stays abreast of the latest science and developments in his field, Dr. Satow is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
