Dr. Ashraf Salem (Ash) is the Founder, President and Chief Medical Officer of BKUC. Dr. Salem graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CCNY and attended medical school at Mount Sinai. After graduating he went on to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center and was Board Certified in 2004. He continued to practice emergency medicine and became an Assistant Professor at Kings County/SUNY Downstate from 2003-2009. Dr. Salem founded Brooklyn Urgent Care in 2006.

Dmitriy Dvoskin, MD, is a dual board-certified physician specializing in interventional pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Part of Hudson Specialty Care’s highly rated pain management team serving patients throughout New York City and New Jersey, he is dedicated to helping patients find long-term relief from chronic pain through advanced, minimally invasive treatments.
A Brooklyn native, Dr. Dvoskin earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University before completing his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2012. He went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Upstate Medical Center and advanced fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Dvoskin is an active member of the North American Spine Society, International Spine Intervention Society, Society of General Internal Medicine, and American Medical Association.
