He then graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). As a specialized practitioner in pelvic floor physical therapy and chronic pain treatment, my professional journey has not necessarily been ordinary. I started my career in an orthopedic setting, where I quickly realized that the system I was operating within didn’t “fit” me. Despite the love I had for my patients, I felt confined within a box that prevented me from fully expressing my passion for helping people in pain.
It was only when I stepped outside of this box that I truly began to thrive and refine my specialization. I believe that pain and physical symptoms are the language of our bodies.
Your experience in physical therapy with me will be non-traditional. I spend a lot of time getting to know the people I work with in order to better help them recognize, understand, and transform their experience with pain. If you’re interested in a different approach to understanding your body and and it’s language, I’d be thrilled to examine that with you and see what we find.
