Dr. Parolie graduated from Valdosta State University in Georgia with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry, which included a year studying abroad in Spain. She then attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Florida, earning her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Parolie completed her residency training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.

Originally from Brazil, Dr. Parolie moved to the United States when she was 15.
