Jinal Mehta, DPM, of Premier Foot & Ankle provides empathetic care to children, adults and seniors with foot and ankle disorders at our Frisco location. Dr. Mehta completed her undergraduate training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minored in chemistry. She then completed her medical training at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago where she initiated the Save A Leg, Save A Life Chapter as part of a National wound care organization. During her time in school, Dr. Mehta traveled for a medical mission as part of the Liga International Flying Doctors of Mercy and served those in need in the rural area of Sinaloa, Mexico. Dr. Mehta then went on to an extensive three year reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgical residency training at the prestigious Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY & the North Shore (Northwell) University Hospital, Manhasset, NY.

After completing her training, she joined a private practice in Long Island, NY and continued to teach residents at both the hospitals. She also served on the Nassau County Podiatry Association’s young members committee during her time in New York. William Arrington, DPM, FACFAS, is an experienced podiatrist at Texas Foot & Ankle Specialists, PLLC, which has convenient locations in Mesquite, Forney, and Kaufman, Texas. 

A Texas native, Dr. Arrington received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University before attending the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received his degree in podiatric medicine. During this time, he also worked at the Veterans Hospital in Cleveland and Brecksville, Ohio. In 2003, Dr. Arrington completed his podiatric medicine and surgical residency in Dallas, Texas, and went on to start a private practice with Dr. Robert Young in Mesquite, Texas.

Dr. Arrington is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Diplomate with the American Board of Physician Specialties. Dr. Arrington holds the honor of being one of the select few double board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons in Foot Surgery and Foot and Ankle Reconstruction. Triple board certified podiatrist Dr. Justin Wade, DPM, FACFAS, MS, is thrilled to be serving the community in his home state of Texas. At Texas Foot & Ankle Specialists, PLLC, with locations in Mesquite, Forney, and Kaufman, Texas, he offers an array of podiatric treatments to patients of all ages. 

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Wade earned his Bachelor of Arts in biology in 2002 from Austin College in Texas, and his Master of Science in kinesiology at the University of North Texas. He went on to graduate from Barry University in Miami, Florida, with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency in 2011 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. During his residency, he gained experience in the Level 1 Trauma Center and is skilled in the care of traumatic injuries as well as the treatment of diabetic foot complications and their complexities.

Dr. Wade is board certified in Forefoot and Rearfoot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and Foot and Ankle surgery and Primary Care Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.Dr. Wade has also been given the honor of being elected as Chief of Staff at Baylor Medical Center in Sunnyvale.

Dr. Michael Birau received his Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. He completed his residency in Podiatric medicine and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at the James A Haley VA hospital where he served as Chief resident his 3rd year.

Dr. Michael Birau is board certified in Diabetic wound care by the American Board of Multiple specialities in Podiatric Medicine (ABMSP). He is also board qualified in Foot and Ankle surgery by the ABMSP. He is an active member of the American Society of Podiatric Surgery and American Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Birau was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up in a rural part of North Carolina. He is married and has 3 boys and is active in his community. He enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, fishing, college sports, and exploring DFW.

Dr. Amir Azer has been fascinated with the medical field and always felt that he was destined to help patients achieve their best health. Dr. Azer began his journey at the University of Texas at Arlington where he received a B.S. in Biology. He completed his medical and podiatric studies and obtained his podiatric medical (DPM) degree at Kent University College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio. Dr. Azer completed a 3-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery in Houston, Texas, and worked with some of the best podiatrists in Houston. During his residency, he focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, forefoot surgery, trauma, and diabetic wound care. He also has a special interest in treating sports injuries involving the foot and ankle. Dr. Christian Morrison was raised in northern Idaho, and earned his bachelor of sciences degree with an emphasis in microbiology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He then went on to earn his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery from California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. Dr. Morrison served as chief resident in the Department of Surgery's devision of Podiatric Surgery at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX, and has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Khan retuned to Michigan to complete his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beaumont Health, where he served as Chief Resident his final year of training. He then went on to complete fellowship, also at Beaumont Health, in Diabetic Limb Salvage and Wound Care. Dr. Khan is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
