Dr. Berlin began his professional education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Following graduation, he pursued a medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. There, Dr. Berlin earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Berlin has served in various positions, including vice chief of surgery and chief of surgery. As a podiatrist, he has special interests in neuropathy care and the treatment of chronic plantar fasciitis.

Alaa N. Mansour, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Gentle Foot and Ankle Care in Madison Heights, Michigan.
Dr. Mansour is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon who was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mansour earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Illinois and attended medical school at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine. He then completed his surgical residency at Beaumont Hospital where he served as chief resident. He went on to complete a fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the Foot and Ankle Institute in Indianapolis.
Dr. Mansour is board certified and has extensive training in the treatment of complex foot and ankle deformities as well as fractures, bunions, flat feet, and arthritis. He has a practice emphasis in ankle joint replacements and also has a special interest in innovative treatments such as 3D printed custom implants for limb salvage and deformity correction. He realizes that he is not just treating feet, but the patients they are attached to.
Dr. Mansour gains the most satisfaction from providing compassionate care, understanding each patient's story, and helping them back onto their feet. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, and exploring new cities. Born in Egypt, Dr. Mansour received his MD degree from the UOC. He completed two years of General surgery residency before moving to Chicago.
Dr. Mansour attended William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from 2000 to 2004 in Chicago, Illinois. There he completed a 3-year residency program in foot and ankle surgery at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Since then he has been operating a successful well-rounded podiatry practice with special interests in diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and additionally he has firsthand experience in arthroscopy of the foot and ankle, reconstructive surgery of diabetic limb, and treatment of pediatric deformities.
Currently the owner and president of Ankle and Foot Care Specialists he runs a full practice having built a strong dedicated team of medical assistants to help smoothly stream patient’s care throughout the day. He is on call at two major level 1 trauma hospitals in Michigan, as well as participating the residency teaching staff.
Dr. Mansour is blessed with four beautiful children and enjoys working out with his son, playing basketball, golfing and lately he has been enjoying riding his Ducati motorcycle whenever the cold Michigan weather permits!

Todd Laughner was born, raised and received his primary, secondary, collegiate and graduate education in Ohio. Dr. Laughner graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Biology from Youngstown State University. He attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland graduating in 1991 as the Class Valedictorian. Dr. Laughner completed his surgical residency training in 1993 at the Kern Hospital for Special Surgery located in Warren, Michigan. He had practiced Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Portland, Maine before locating to the Tri City Area in 1996. He has been an active staff member at MidMichigan Medical Center since 1998. Dr. Laughner has been in practice at Midland Podiatry Associates since October 1999.
Dr. Laughner and his wife, Sandra have one daughter, Peyton. He enjoys private practice and is zestful in the pursuit of helping patients eradicate painful foot conditions. In his leisure time he is an avid drag racer and enjoys the collector car hobby.
