Dr. Jenny Lam was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. She attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. To pursue her dreams, she moved to the Bay area and received her a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA. Dr. Lam completed her 3-year Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, CA, which emphasized in trauma, sports medicine, and wound care. While in her residency, she worked in busy Trauma Level-1 Centers such as Highland Hospital and San Francisco General Hospital which exposed her to difficult pathology and complicated surgical cases.
Due to her interest in sports medicine, she decided to pursue additional training and applied to the prestigious American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons approved fellowships. Out of only 10 positions available in California, Dr. Lam was selected for the SSC Sports Medicine Fellowship in Irvine, CA. During her one-year fellowship alone, she scrubbed in over 400 surgical procedures and treated with significant amount of athletes and patients with active lifestyles.
Dr. Lam believes in educating her patients and including them in their healing process to help them get back to their activities faster. Christyn Marshall, DPM, AACFAS, is a podiatrist who brings more than half a decade of experience to Diablo Podiatry and Bay Vascular, serving people of all ages in San Ramon, California, and throughout Contra Costa County.
Dr. Marshall began her professional education at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. Afterward, she enrolled at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, and earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
