Paul Whitehouse, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist with the team at Albuquerque Associated Podiatrists in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Whitehouse proudly treats any lower extremity ailments, with a particular interest in the care of traumatic injuries, deformity corrections, and reconstructive surgery of the diabetic foot.
Dr. Whitehouse's medical training began at the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences and public health. He then obtained his doctoral degree at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. Dr. Whitehouse completed his training with a three-year surgical residency at the New Mexico Veteran Affairs Healthcare System in Albuquerque. During his tenure in Albuquerque, he trained under the expertise and guidance of his colleagues, Drs. Matthew Cobb, Haywan Chiu, and Zachary Haas.
Dr. Whitehouse believes in a treatment approach that is logical, understandable, fitting to the patient's personal and professional needs, and rooted in Evidence-Based Medical (EBM) practices. He takes an active role in ensuring his patients receive the most current treatments supported by scientific literature. He has published original research in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has presented his work at various foot and ankle surgical conferences.
In his spare time, Dr. Whitehouse can be found outdoors hiking, camping, and paddleboarding, with his spouse, Lisa, and their two dogs. He is proud to call New Mexico home and looks forward to treating those with foot and ankle needs in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
Jeremy Strange, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Foot & Ankle Specialists of New Mexico, with locations in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Strange has more than a decade of private practice experience and treats patients of all ages for any foot and ankle problem.
Dr. Strange graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2008 from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois. He then traveled back to Salt Lake City, Utah to complete his residency at Intermountain Medical Center.
Immediately following residency, Dr. Strange moved back to his childhood hometown of Vernal, Utah and practiced as a solo provider for 11 years. During that time he was able to hone his skills in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical podiatric medical care. He and his wife have since moved to Albuquerque to continue his career as a foot and ankle specialist. Dr. Strange is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery.
When not treating patients, Dr. Strange enjoys mountain biking, golfing, kayaking and traveling with his wife.
