Charles B. Marder, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric surgeon at North Texas Orthopaedic & Spine in Plano and Frisco, Texas. He brings his exceptional combination of expertise, extensive experience, and compassionate dedication to his patients at NTOS. Throughout his 30 plus year career, Dr. Marder has assumed key roles such as the President of the regional division of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the Director of education for the Mesquite Podiatric Surgical Residency Program. As well as, a respected lecturer representing several pharmaceutical companies.
His medical interests are in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma treatment, diabetic foot care, pediatric podiatry, and sports medicine. Dr. Marder remains committed to providing each patient with personalized and attentive care at North Texas Orthopaedic & Spine.
With a firm belief that each patient’s needs are of the utmost importance, board-certified podiatrist Tommie Harris, DPM, is known for committing to quality patient-centric care. As the founder of North Texas’ Flower Mound Foot and Ankle Center, Dr. Harris puts his patients first at all times.
Dr. Harris earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. After completing his residency training, Dr. Harris became board certified through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
Born and raised in a small town in Arkansas, Dr. Harris learned early on that respect for fellow neighbors is important. He understands that it’s a privilege to be able to treat the sacred human body. Since Dr. Harris has observed the devastating results of untreated diabetes, athletic injuries, and other causes of foot or ankle pain, he provides a wide range of cutting-edge treatments.
Dr. Harris has extensive training in treating a realm of minor to complex conditions. While he generally starts with conservative therapies, sometimes involving medical lasers, he can also perform minimally invasive reconstructive surgery if noninvasive solutions aren’t enough. But his goal is to be upfront and honorable and to do everything possible before suggesting any type of invasive treatment.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Harris enjoys bass fishing, golfing, and hunting. He resides in Flower Mound with his wife and their son.
Dr. S. Rick Miller of the Advanced Foot & Ankle Center of North Texas has dedicated the past several decades of his career towards “helping patients maintain their best foot forward.” He extends that promise to patients in or around Carrollton and Plano, TX. From helping sports medicine patients improve their jogging/running performance to helping golfers improve their swings, Dr. Miller understands the importance of foot and ankle functioning for athletic excellence. He has built his career and life around reducing discomfort and enhancing performance in athletes and non-athletes alike.
His lifelong commitment to quality in podiatric medicine started with completing his podiatry residency at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA. From California, he relocated to the Dallas area in 1976 where he has been serving the local community ever since.
Board-certified in the specialty area of foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Miller continues to stay informed and educated about leading techniques and technologies that can improve his patients’ lives. In fact, Dr. Miller’s comprehensive training and experience in restorative surgery and foot therapy has allowed him to develop great acclaim in the North Texas area.
In addition to his work at the Advanced Foot & Ankle Center, Dr. Miller is also affiliated with the Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton and the Methodist Hospital for Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He also maintains professional memberships with the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Dallas County Podiatric Medical Association, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Miller’s love of golf has led him to get involved with GolfTEC; a golf lesson company focused on golf improvement around the world. When he’s not teaching and enjoying the sport, he is spending time with his wife, Vanetta, and their two dogs, Muffee and Nikkee.
Matthew Hausenfluke, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon at North Texas Foot & Ankle, which has locations in Dallas and Garland, Texas.
Prior to founding North Texas Foot & Ankle, Dr. Hausenfluke spent several years practicing surgical foot and ankle reconstruction at the Foot and Ankle Institute at Monrovia, California, where he participated in the BAJA Project for Crippled Children, spending two years, off and on, serving children in clinics in and around the Mexicali, Mexico, area. During that period, Dr. Hausenfluke spent almost every weekend treating pediatric limb deformities with conservative care and surgical reconstruction. “I got to know the children so well,” comments Hausenfluke, “I could recognize their cries from another room. They were very special to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed my work there. There’s nothing like healing children.”
Dr. Hausenfluke also dedicated a great deal of time to third-world pediatric intervention through “Operation Footprint,” sponsored by the Rotary Club in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he volunteered his skills in the treatment of pediatric congenital limb deformities.
In January of 2005, Dr. Hausenfluke joined a medical team based out of Baylor hospital of Garland. The surgical mission performed 53 surgical procedures at the Predisan mission in Catacamas, Honduras.
From 2005-2007, Dr. Hausenfluke led a medical team along with E3 ministries to the Amazon basin in South America. The team spent seven days going from river village to river village, establishing daily clinics to care for the needs of the Brazillian natives. “I grew a new respect for those who live off the land, and I truly admire the people of the Amazon Basin.”
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in biomedical science, Dr. Hausenfluke attended Des Moines University in Iowa, where he earned his doctorate in podiatry. He then began his residency at the Veteran’s Administration and Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. There he mastered his skills in the treatment of diabetic limb salvage and diabetes-associated ailments. Dr. Hausenfluke has said, “It is my sincerest desire to help heal my patients with as little discomfort and inconvenience as possible.”
Dr. Hausenfluke has a conservative perspective on treatment options and surgical intervention, which considers the patient’s entire body. “I try to achieve a more functional result with conservative treatment options and a heavy emphasis on biomechanics,” explains Hausenfluke. “This philosophy is very important in the patient’s daily activities, as well as in sports-related injuries.”
Dr. Hausenfluke is a native Texan from Abilene. In his spare time, he enjoys sports activities, including distance running, backpacking, cycling, and woodworking. Dr. Hausenfluke is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Dr. Morrison is a member of Texas Podiatric Medical Association as well as the American Podiatric Medical Association and Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Society (MIFAS).
