Robert Grondin, DPM, is a skilled and highly trained podiatric physician at Premier Foot & Ankle Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. He brings over 15 years of experience caring for patients and performing foot and ankle surgical procedures.
Dr. Grondin received his Bachelor of Science in biology at Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts, in 2001. He then earned his doctoral degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2005. Dr. Grondin completed an intense three-year surgical residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA, in 2008.
Dr. Grondin grew up in Maine, and when he was an undergrad, he knew he ultimately wanted to become a specialist but wasn’t sure which specialty it would be. “I chose podiatry because it is a very hands-on field, and it’s also especially gratifying for me if we’re able to alleviate a patient’s pain in just one visit. That’s what makes being a podiatrist special.”
Dr. Grondin is board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (FACFAS) and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS).
When he isn’t busy helping patients, Dr. Grondin enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife (Dr. Suzanne Grondin) and their two boys, visiting his home state of Maine, and enjoying outdoor activities such as going to the beach and hiking. He also likes playing golf when time allows.
“Dr. Grondin was very pleasant, genuinely concerned and very thorough when explaining my condition. He took time to make sure I understood what was happening before explaining the next steps and what future options would be if not better at my follow-up visit. Highly recommend.”
Suzanne Grondin, DPM, is one of the exceptional podiatrists practicing at Premier Foot and Ankle Center, which has locations in Worcester and Whitinsville, Massachusetts.
Dr. Grondin grew up in Dartmouth, a small town in southeastern Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and chemistry from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, and her Doctorate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Grondin completed her surgical residency at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. She then went on to private practice at the Premier Foot and Ankle Center.
Dr. Grondin is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She has been recognized by Temple University for her excellence in pediatric podiatry, and she received the Who's Who Award among Executive and Professional Women.
Dr. Grondin originally became interested in podiatry at a young age after suffering several foot injuries as a competitive figure skater. Dr. Grondin competed all over New England for 17 years and worked very closely with her podiatrist to keep her feet healthy. This led to her interest in the foot and ankle as her own profession. Today Dr. Grondin uses these experiences, along with her training, to work with her patients and keep their feet healthy.

He is particularly drawn to complex surgical cases where restoring mobility and preventing long-term disability can truly change a patient’s life. Whether it’s correcting a painful deformity or performing limb salvage procedures to preserve independence, Dr. Mishra takes pride in offering both advanced surgical skill and compassionate care.
