As a dedicated foot and ankle surgeon with a passion for personalized patient care, Mariola Rivera, DPM, is a leader in innovative solutions. Dr. Rivera welcomes new and existing patients to Aesthetic Podiatry & Sports Medicine Center, with locations in Purchase and White Plains, New York.
After completing her Bachelor of Science in pre-medicine and premedical studies from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, Dr. Rivera was accepted into medical school. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Rivera went on to complete a competitive podiatric medicine and surgical residency at the Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. She currently maintains professional memberships with the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Mariola Rivera is a board certified physician and Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
With her extensive training in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Rivera is a highly regarded surgeon for aesthetic and deformity corrections. Dr. Rivera also has special interests in wound management and sports medicine and regularly treats runners, ballet dancers, and other athletes.
Because Dr. Rivera wants her patients to get back into their normal activities and stay active, she offers personalized conservative treatment packages. If surgery is indeed the best resort, Dr. Rivera uses minimally invasive measures to make repairs to help restore your full function.

This is by far the best podiatrist office I've ever been too. That includes the the entire office staff. And Dr Rivera is extremely helpful and always has a welcoming smile. I just told my husband about it and he wants to go now.

I had a very good experience at Dr. Rivera’s office. I was a bit late due to unexpected heavy traffic and they were very kind about it. Dr. Rivera listened to my symptoms, conducted an examination and X-rays and diagnosed my issue. Treatment included medical intervention as well as lifestyle modifications. What I need to do was explained clearly and I got take home copies of the exercises, etc. Looking forward to making progress and my follow up visit. Highly recommend.

My initial appointment was a very pleasant experience. The receptionist was welcoming and pleasant. The paperwork was completed on an iPad. Made it easy to fill out the questionnaire. Dr. Shah was personable and expressed interest in my foot problems. She performed an examination of my foot circulation, sensitivity and painful areas on the bottom of my feet. Dr. Shah worked on my foot issue pain free. My feet are no longer hurting. She won me over motivating me to schedule a follow-up appointment.
Always a pleasure to enter the office. Then Dr always enters the room with a smile and ready for o make you feel 100%. She performed surgery last spring and I m very great full and pain free.
