Yolisept Bencosme, DPM

Dr. Yolisept Bencosme provides comprehensive foot and ankle care for children and adults, treating everything from ingrown and fungal nails, warts, heel and foot/ankle pain, bunions, and hammertoes to sports injuries, fractures, tendon and ligament disorders, soft-tissue masses, trauma, and complex foot and ankle conditions.

She completed her surgical residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle certification (PMSR/RRA) at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with advanced training in foot and ankle surgery, trauma, minimally invasive surgery, Achilles pathology, limb salvage, and wound care.

Dr. Bencosme’s approach to care is personal, thoughtful, and individualized. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and develops a treatment plan tailored to them, from conservative care and regenerative medicine—including Platelet rich plasma injections, fat allografts, MLS laser, and shockwave therapy—to surgical intervention when appropriate.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys staying active, is an avid yogi and reader, and, most of all, cherishes spending time with her children and family. Dr. Bencosme is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is deeply committed to serving and supporting her community.
