I had pain on my right side running down my leg from my back. I felt he listened to me and came up with a plan to have surgery to remove a cyst. After many other attempts from other sources to ease the pain. Nothing worked and was referred to Dr. Elia. I had confidence in his ability to alleviate the pain having a couple conversations leading up to the surgery. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with back pain.

Over the past 5 years I have had 3 surgeries by 3 different surgeons, I went to Dr. Asmaro to get a second opinion because the second surgeon erred and needed to go back in to correct his error, that he pointed out the first surg... Read more Over the past 5 years I have had 3 surgeries by 3 different surgeons, I went to Dr. Asmaro to get a second opinion because the second surgeon erred and needed to go back in to correct his error, that he pointed out the first surgeon failed on. After visiting with Dr. Asmaro, I decided he would be my surgeon because of his professionalism, his experience, and the fact that was thorough in making sure what had to be done. I would definitely refer him to anyone.
