A very skilled and meticulous neurosurgeon who is also very intelligent. VERY intelligent. As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Elia is used to operating in very small and confined places as S.O.P. Does ONE vertebrae at a time as its own enShow moretity and takes his time doing it. He is a 5 star rated neurosurgeon and that's who I want operating on me. I only do this once and all I'm concerned about is the outcome.

I seen Dr. Elia for a lower back disc replacement that was done minimally invasive. Dr. Elia and his office staff are friendly, well educated and professional. I will never see anyone for my back and will refer anyone I know to see him. Dr Elia listens to his patients and their symptoms. He offers many alternatives to surgery tailored to each patients needs.

My visit with Dr Elia was short but good. My MRI cd was scratched so it wouldn't load, but otherwise Dr Elia seems very concerned and caring. I have another appointment scheduled and hopefully my imaging will be better.

From start to finish they are on the ball! From reception, to the PA, to the RN - helpful, knowledgeable, efficient...the BEST. And Dr Elia? Meeting him felt like I met my lifeline. Wasn't in a rush, explained everything as well as possible outcomes even though unlikely. I feel very confident and comfortable with him! I'm looking forward to better life/better body...

Excellent care. Beyond expectations. Perfect care planning. Professional. The entire team are so very organized. They are fast at getting appointments met before insurance deductibles time out. The referrals given to me were to other awesome care providers. Xray, CT and MRI are conveniently in the same building in Royal Oak and have a minimal appointment wait. I Highly recommend.
Dr. Elia has a great rapport. He is kind and willing to answer any question I have. The surgery he performed on my back has given me a new life. I must add that all of his staff are excellent as well.
