I had a very nice expirence with Dr. Elia when I first met with him. I had pain on my right side running down my leg from my back. I felt he listened to me and came up with a plan to have surgery to remove a cyst. After many otheShow morer attempts from other sources to ease the pain. Nothing worked and was referred to Dr. Elia. I had confidence in his ability to alleviate the pain having a couple conversations leading up to the surgery. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with back pain.
I had surgery in Jan 2026 for spinal fusion and it was very successful. Recently I developed severe sciatica pain and Doctor Elia in one day diagnosed the problem through an MRI and CT Scan arranged an appointment with a pain clinShow moreic for that day, and by that afternoon was heading home after receiving treatment. The next day my back pain was relieved. I cant say enough about Dr. Elia's skill and the proficiency and caring of his staff.

Dr. Elia is very knowledgeable and friendly; easy to talk to. He took the time to go over my symptoms and offer options for treatment. In the end I opted for surgery.

I am I very happy with everything from pre surgery to post. He is very thorough. And easy to talk to. His PA Jason is the best so kind and easy to work with.
Could not completely answer his first question before he went into a whole different topic. But I enjoyed the vist and the PA was wonderful he was patient and explained everything.

I did feel like the dr. was a bit rushed. Would have liked to have him show me my X-rays, but didn't happen. Otherwise, Im happy to be a patient of Dr. Elia's.
The office staff were very helpful and friendly. Everyone from the front desk, the nurse, the doctor and the staff at check out were all very nice.

Dr. Elia and his Resident/Attendee was great, but waited a long time in the room. I do realize that they were trying to catch up on patients who needed to be seen as Dr. Elia has been out of town a lot lately. The plan of being extra careful and cautious of a new diagnosis with my cervical area is much appreciated.
Dr. Elia is a phenomenal physician and surgeon. I am very impressed with his clinical assessment and am looking forward to his surgical acumen where my lower back is concerned. It is important for me to note how great his support staff as well.
Waiting for over 1/2 hr from appointment time should be addressed. Yes, spend time with patients, just have staff accordingly! Thank you for your time, but hope not to make the long trip again.

Very professional, easy to talk to, very friendly staff. I did not feel pressured into surgery. I left the office feeling more confident than I did walking in.

I was referred to Dr. Elia to have a consult of lower back and leg pain. I was pleased with my conversation with him and felt he was hearing my words of the discomfort I have had for past 5 1/2 months. I have another consult with him in a week.
