I had a great experience with Dr Chandran from pre-op to post opp and follow up! The surgery just went perfectly. In the beginning I was just to have my toes/foot amputated. Dr Chandran was honest with me and advised to have the below the knee amputation instead of foot to avoid certain future complications and surgeries because of my health and other challenges at 83 years old. I am very happy with his recommendation and skilled work as I am now on a great road to recovery and better health without any infections. I'm learning to adjust with one leg and have a positive spirit which is contributed by an overall great experience with this life changing surgery and a wonderful surgeon! Also the anesthesiologist was top notch in handling my care and getting me through surgery successfully! The two of them made the greatest team possible! Much appreciated! Barbara
