Dr. Pourmorady graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Summa Cum Laude honors. He then went on to pursue his medical degree from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine.

Dr. Pourmorady completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Following residency, he completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology from the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Pourmorady is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and California Rehabilitation Institute.
