Jon T. Ricks, MD, is a skilled board-certified OB/GYN who offers exceptional gynecologic and obstetrics care for adolescents and adult women at his office, Jon T. Ricks, MD PA, in Frisco, Texas. Dr. Ricks is known for his expertise and compassionate, attentive approach to care. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality, individualized care for women in all stages of life.

Earning his medical degree from UT Health Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine (LSOM) in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Ricks completed his internship and residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Ricks has been featured in D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Collin County since 2011 and in Frisco Style Magazine as Best Frisco OB/GYN. He affiliates with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

As a skilled gynecologist, Dr. Ricks provides a variety of comprehensive services in-office to address acute and chronic health issues that affect a woman’s reproductive and sexual health. He also focuses on preventive care to lower risk factors for cervical cancer, breast cancer, and other diseases.

Dr. Ricks offers both conservative and surgical gynecology treatments to address conditions like endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, and pelvic pain. He performs procedures like dilation and curettage, laparoscopic hysterectomies, incontinence sling procedures, and excision of vaginal or uterine lesions to improve reproductive and sexual function.

Additionally, Dr. Ricks provides comprehensive pregnancy and obstetrics services to care for the evolving needs of expectant mothers and their babies. He is also an expert in labiaplasty and other vaginal revitalization procedures and has extensive training in advanced surgical techniques, including da Vinci® robotic surgery technology.
