Jon T. Ricks, MD, is a skilled board-certified OB/GYN who offers exceptional gynecologic and obstetrics care for adolescents and adult women at his office, Jon T. Ricks, MD PA, in Frisco, Texas. Earning his medical degree from UT Health Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine (LSOM) in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Ricks completed his internship and residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

I love working with Dr. Ricks, but the wait time in the lobby is very frustrating. By time you’re seen, it’s an hour past the appointment time. And then another 20-30 in the back waiting. I just ask that there be more respect for other people’s time.

Staff and Dr.Ricks very professional and easy to talk with. The only complaint I have is that I waited over an hour to see Dr.Ricks. A TJ thought might be to either reschedule appointments or allow more time with each patient. All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Rick’s.
Dr.Ricks is very polite and personable. He was very easy to talk to and let him know of my concerns. His staff is very willing to help you and very polite. If I had a complaint it would be that the waiting time was more than an hour. He was busy with an emergency surgery and baby delivery which as we all know, babies come when they want to come! My only suggestion might be that office staff let the patient know Dr. Ricks has been called away so ask the patient if they want to reschedule or come back in 2 hours or whatever the case maybe.
I have been with Dr. Ricks and his staff for over 6 years and have had such a wonderful experience. I’m so thankful for his team of professionals. They are truly empathetic, helpful, and very good at what they do. He has delivered two of my children and walked me through two miscarriages. I have never once felt like just another patient. I cannot recommend his team enough.
Arrived to office, signed in and paid for my visit of $77.29 to just see the Dr. as soon as I made my payment, receptionist told me Dr had just left to perform a C section, his 3rd of the day. I was able to see the nurse whom helped solve my issues, she is calling me sometime today to let me know drs thoughts on my questions. I expect a deduction next time I come in bc I never saw Dr, only nurse. Nurse is fantastic.
