Dr. Marc D. Makhani, the founder of LA Digestive Health and Wellness, located at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers in Beverly Hills, California, is one of the best Gastroenterologists in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Makhani's patients benefit from his expertise in delivering a variety of procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, video capsule endoscopy, radiofrequency ablation, and testing for acid reflux and motility disorders. Patients can seek diagnoses and treatment for conditions ranging from hemorrhoids to Barrett’s Esophagus and colon cancer.

Dr. Makhani pursued his bachelor’s degree at UCLA with a major in psychobiology. He also volunteered at the Santa Monica UCLA Hospital as an undergraduate. He then went on to obtain his medical degree as a doctor of medicine (MD) at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He subsequently obtained a board certification in internal medicine after completing his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Makhani then continued his medical training by pursuing a specialty in gastroenterology at Temple University Hospital in Pennsylvania before moving back to Los Angeles to begin his practice.

Dr. Makhani of LA Digestive Health and Wellness centers his principles on a passion for promoting overall health and wellbeing. Proper digestion and preventative care are essential to proper nutrition and he is a firm believer in practicing what one preaches. Dr. Makhani’s belief is that health is the result of a multifactorial process including an active lifestyle, digestive health, and proper dietary habits.
