Dr. Imholt was great!! She made me feel really comfortable about some things I had been worrying about pertaining to my son. She was caring, playful, and understanding with my son. The only reason I rated the experience a 4, is because the first nurse seemed impatient and agitated with my child. Kudos to the second nurse that was able to get his blood pressure reading and Dr. Imholt!!
Dr. Imholt is always wonderful! She takes the time to sit and talk with my teen and truly listen to what they have to say about their health and their concerns.

We have been amazed by Dr. Imholt from the minute we met her. Last year we had a concern about a lump on our 2 month old's arm. Dr. Imholt got the ball rolling on multiple different tests, and contacted specialists at UVA to get us seen right away. It turned out that our daughter had a cancerous mass on her arm. As we went through a year of treatment, Dr. Imholt kept in touch with us. She called to check on both us and our daughter, and was there every step of the way. She helped her thrive
Wonderful doctor, clerical and clinical staff!! Called in for a new patient appointment and my daughter was seen the following morning. We were greeted with smiles and genuine kindness. They took the time to truly listen to all of our concerns and addressed them. Treated my 14 year old daughter as she is her own person, allowed her to speak for herself, encouraged her participation in choosing treatment plan. I only wish I had transferred my children’s care to them sooner. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Shelburne is amazing. She provides such necessary reassurance for new moms and really just makes all of her patients and their families feel a sense of relief when leaving. She has such professional patient interaction while still making mothers feel comfortable to talk about their concerns openly. Very appreciative of her guidance throughout the newborn stages! I am excited that my baby has such a great pediatrician to grow up with!
My son has been seeing Dr Imholt since he was a newborn. She has always been very friendly and patient with him. She always has his best interests in mind when he visits and has helped us alot as he's grown.

I’ve brought my daughter to Dr. Shelburne twice now, and both times we have received phenomenal care. She’s incredible with kids and takes the time to put them at ease during the exam, and she was thorough with her explanations and recommendations. I felt that she had my daughter’s best interest at heart, and I could not be more pleased to find such a wonderful pediatrician! On top of that, the staff is super friendly and welcoming! She was excellent, took her time with both of my daughters, explained things well, listened to our concerns, and had a sense of humor about things which made us even more willing to talk and more comfortable.

The team happily worked us in and they were thorough with the appointment addressing all concerns and questions.
