The goal of the pediatricians and support staff at Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics is to provide high-quality pediatric care to children and adolescents living in and around Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County.
At Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, the team provides accurate diagnosis and caring, empathetic treatment for their young patients. The team works with children and adolescents from infants to age 21. They provide early appointments and extended evening hours on some weekdays to accommodate families’ busy schedules.
The team is accepting new patients and offering same-day appointments for sick visits. In addition, patients have the option to select the provider they want to see or the “next available” provider.
At Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, the team treats a wide variety of common childhood problems, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), allergies, asthma, childhood obesity, coughs, colds, ear infections, eczema, fevers, the flu, and strep throat.
The pediatric specialists also work with newborns and first-time moms, offering prenatal consultations and well-baby exams. In addition, the team offers adolescent health exams, including STD testing, as well as school and sports physicals and on-site medical lab testing.
Patients can also access immunizations and treatment for developmental conditions, such as autism and expressive speech delay. Whenever necessary, the team also refers patients to pediatric subspecialists affiliated with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

We had such an amazing experience with our son's 2 year visit with the nurse practitioner who was on duty on 8/15/24. I can't remember her name off top of my head, however, she was absolutely the BEST I've ever seen or had since I've been there! Very warm, very compassionate, very knowledgeable, very advising! Loved her. Wouldn't mind seeing her on a consistent basis! But overall, this practice is very welcoming. We've been coming here since my son was born because this was my husband's pediatric office when he was a kid and wanted to keep it that way. Great staff! Keep doing what you're doing for the community!

Excellent experience with Dr. Burnett love this place been going here with my kids for 20 yrs and counting never had any issues or difficulties staff always have been there for years although some has gone but still that says a lot about the doctors too. They are good people but I’ll miss Dr hammad. Dr. Platner ur the last old school left.. Great place
