This was my first time bringing my daughter to this pediatrician. The front desk was amazing and had my insurance and registration ready. The MA and nurses where great and friendly, and the provider as well, gave me great informatShow moreion. Everything was great until the very end at check out. The provider told me I could get my daughters school excused from the check out desk, the young lady did even great, looked at me with a nasty attitude and was like what do you need, and said I’m sorry they told me to get the doctor excuses from her, she has such a nasty attitude, and was breathing angry and horrible attitude when asking the spelling of my daughters names, seem she got more upset when she thought both my daughter had same last name and gave me a judgmental look when I told they didn’t have a same last name.

Dr. Platner, was extremely informative and very helpful. He was patient and took the time to answer all of our questions.
Dr. Platner has been my children's doctor since 1998. I trust him and his staff. They are the absolute best! I highly recommend.
Dr. Platner is one of the best pediatricians and the staff/team at Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics are always pleasant. The wait time is never too long and I love how they recently changed to signing in electronically from your phone which is so convenient for everyone I’m sure. I came to this particular clinic as a child myself so it’s only right I brought my very own children to the best as well.
My son has been a patient there since he was a newborn. He is now sixteen years old. Outstanding staff who genuinely cares about the kids there. They have been open for decades.
I am happy with the care received and trust this practice and it's doctors. Very competent, empathetic and listen to my concerns. The wait time is usually short to reasonable. I always get a same day or at worst next day appointment if my child is sick.
Love seeing the smiling faces

We love Dr. Platner! His philosophy of looking at the big picture and making medical recommendations based from research is something we really appreciate. He takes the time to answer our questions and we never feel rushed. The nurses and office staff are so kind, too!
I have 6 kids oldest is 20 all my kids been going here since birth, that there alone speaks for itself, I'm very satisfied with their customer service, they are like family never a bad experience. They love the kids and they are good at what they do
My child has been under Dr. Platner's care for sixteen years. We are very satisfied. The staff have always been very nice and helpful. The only negative is that they aren't as accommodating in the schedule. For instance, they use to allow me a same day visit if my child was sick, and it takes longer to get an appointment. However, with our recent visits, the time I wait in the waiting room has improved (probably for it). With that said, I would not change because my child and I like Dr. Platner.
6 month check up, efficient and caring service as always
Nice women
Front desk staff were so kind and professional!
Yes as always the staff and doctors go above and beyond. Ms. Tracie is the absolute best and the male technician always is a definite plus.
I’ve been bringing my kids here for years and I specifically ask for Dr. P he is great.
