Dr. Marshall has helped me with several debilitating foot issues. He takes the time to explain what is the likely cause of the pain, what options you have for treatment, and the risks and potential benefits of surgical procedures. His approach is conservative, first focusing on noninvasive treatment before considering surgery, which I really appreciate. He is an athlete, and is well versed with foot issues and resolutions for runners and cyclists. It’s a pleasure talking with him, none of the hurry up and move on as with the large networks like Austin Regional Clinic or Austin Diagnostic Clinic. He has literally got me back on my feet doing what I love - cycling, walking, and hiking. If you’re in need of a podiatrist, then I highly recommend seeing Dr. John Marshall. You’ll be glad you did. I first saw Dr. Shocked about 13 years ago for a bunionectomy. He did a great job and I literally had no pain. Fast Forward to 2024. I was having some serious problems with both of my feet. I ended up having surgery on both of my feet. Dr. Shocked is the one that first alerted me to the fact that I might have Rheumatoid Arthritis and he sent me for bloodwork. He was right and now he and my rheumatologist are addressing the issues associated with that. I love this group! Office staff is very warm and welcoming. Dr. Shock is pretty low-key, and happy to answer questions. I would and have recommended this practice to anyone looking for an outstanding podiatrist! Read less
