I have Multiple Sclerosis and he helps me to learn to accept that my body is different now. Sometimes when I have an appointment with him and I can't find a whole lot to say, he gets me to open up. Yesterday, for example, I was kind of quiet. I thought that I was having an even stable period. Today I realized with sadness that it is close the anniversary of my brother's death.

Her clinical acumen is matched by her sincere commitment to listening and expressing empathy and concern. She is highly intelligent and recognizes emotions and their importance in sharing our deepest thoughts and feelings. Each time we meet I leave feeling heard and valued and that I am not alone in the challenges I am facing both internally and in community/relationally.
