The Laurel Highlands Center brings together a unique mix of innovation and community, serving as the home of C&R Medical Associates, Healthspan IQ, and The Littlest Shop. This shared space fosters collaboration, wellness, and local charm—all under one roof.
At The Laurel Highlands Center in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, we believe health care should do more than treat illness. It should help you stay strong, capable, and independent for years to come. Led by Courtney Floyd, MD, and Ryan Floyd, MD, our physician-led practice offers adult medical programs centered on strength, function, and long-term health.
When you visit us, we take time to understand how your body truly functions. Instead of focusing on symptoms or routine lab data, we use advanced diagnostic tools, including body composition medicine, functional movement assessments, and targeted laboratory testing. These tools help us evaluate muscle health, bone strength, metabolic function, and overall wellness to build a clear picture of your health.
This information enables us to create a personalized care plan designed specifically for you. Our approach is evidence-based and realistic, with recommendations grounded in testing data and practical lifestyle adjustments.
We focus on lifestyle strategies that fit into your life, whether you’re working to improve metabolic health, address weight changes, manage a chronic condition, or maintain muscle and bone health as you age.
We also understand that health isn’t static. Your body, lifestyle, and goals change over time; a care plan should also adjust for you. As your physicians, we continue to monitor your progress, adjust strategies as needed, and support you through every stage of your health journey.
Our goal is to help you feel stronger, more capable, and confident in your body.

FAQ
Do you accept insurance? Yes. We currently accept most commercial insurances and Medicare. We cannot accept medical assistance/medicaid. Insurances: Highmark, UPMC, Aetna, Tricare, Peak Health, Medicare. Cigna and Humana pending.
Can I establish with you as my primary care doctor? No. We are not functioning as primary care providers. While we treat similar conditions, you should still have a PCP. We will treat your conditions alongside your established care team.
Can I see you if I don't have one of the conditions listed? Yes! We are constantly developing new programs that you may find fitting, but we also are able to schedule a visit to develop lifestyle prescriptions such as exercise or nutrition.
Is healthspan a new field of medicine? While not a board-certified specialty, this field of medicine has been rising in popularity. Healthspan medicine is a newer way of organizing care around a long-standing medical goal: helping people stay healthy, strong, and independent for as many years as possible. Rather than focusing only on how long you live, healthspan medicine asks an additional question: How well can you live during those years?
