Ryan Floyd, MD

Ryan Floyd, MD, is a family medicine physician dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care while helping train the next generation of physicians. With a strong commitment to both clinical practice and medical education, Dr. Floyd focuses on building lasting relationships with patients at The Laurel Highlands Center in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Floyd earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Allegheny College before attending Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his family medicine residency at Latrobe Hospital in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, from 2013 to 2016, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care and community-focused medicine.

Following residency, Dr. Floyd joined the faculty at the Latrobe Family Medicine Residency, where he continues to serve as a teaching physician. In this role, he mentors resident physicians while providing care to patients, helping bridge clinical practice with medical education. His dedication to teaching has been widely recognized, earning him multiple Teacher of the Year awards, as voted by the residents he trains.

Dr. Floyd’s work reflects a deep commitment to evidence-based medicine, continuity of care, and collaborative patient relationships. By combining patient care with physician training, he plays an important role in shaping the future of family medicine while ensuring patients receive compassionate, high-quality care.
