I am hesitant of new-to-me clinicians because I find it intensely important that they have "book smarts, common sense, AND real life experience". I've dealt with mental health issues for many years & I need someone who can follow the here & now "chaos", but also stay aware of the bigger picture as we go. My initial take was She seemed engaged & open to out of the box thinking. Also, she felt nonjudgemental +++
