Dr. Mark Ciaglia, DO, is specially trained in hand surgery and microsurgery, while Dr. William J. Jordan, MD, has expertise in orthopaedic and sports medicine. Though they’re both highly experienced surgeons, they always strive to treat your orthopaedic condition with conservative, nonsurgical options.

With the ultimate goal of recovery and ongoing wellness, the doctors work with each patient every step of the way, offering medical solutions, advanced therapies, and rehabilitation that restore optimal strength and get each person back to the activities they enjoy.

Patients at the Woodlands Center for Special Surgery have access to diagnostic studies, including digital X-rays, so all their care is provided on-site. No matter what part of the musculoskeletal system is in pain, or whether it’s due to trauma, a sports injury, or degenerative disease, the team quickly identifies the underlying cause and creates customized treatment plans.

The doctors treat all types of fractures, tendonitis, arthritis, and joint pain. They’re experts in diverse treatments, from regenerative medicine in the form of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections and stem cell therapy to minimally invasive endoscopic and arthroscopic surgery, including microscopic wrist surgery.
