I had even called the office same day to check on it, and I was assured it would be taken care of that day. Very disappointed after feeling loved and cared for while there. Next time I won't leave without a copy of my prescription in hand. I'm fine going to get it myself, but I trusted them to do it as they said they would.

At Celebrating Women Center in Oxnard, California, Dr. Adrienne Lara, MD, wants her patients to know that she went to medical school for you. She believes good patient care is collaborative, and involves both the patient and doctor working together as a team to get to the same goal — patient wellness. Dr. Lara takes the time to listen to her patients to better understand who they are, so she’s not treating symptoms, but the whole patient, including their mind, body, and spirit.

After beginning her career in health care as a nurse, Dr. Lara then went to medical school at Boston University School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, which is part of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Lara takes great pride in her community and believes as a doctor it’s her role to teach and share her knowledge so that her patients understand that they have options. Her integrity and authenticity when it comes to health care are why she’s so loved by all who see her.

She was very thorough. She explained my exam like no other doctor has every done. She is easy to talk to and listens like no other doctor.
I went in for some lipo on my live handles and flanks. Dr. Lara was very attentive and listened to what I wanted and my concerns. She completely understood what I wanted done and made me feel very comfortable. I am so happy with my results but I know I still have some healing to do but so far I love how Dr. Lara did my lipo.

All staff is super kind and helpful. Staff makes you feel normal and not judged.

Great Experience
Came by for Botox after doing a bit of digging on Google, decided on Dr. Lara after a bit of research. My first time here was phenomenal, the staff was friendly and Dr. Lara was truly amazing to work with. New dr offices can be a bit nerve wrecking, but she immediately made me feel welcomed and I was very grateful for that. Glad to say I will be a continuous patient of hers!
