Alexa Cortez

Alexa is a bilingual pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist serving children and families in DeSoto County and the Greater Memphis area. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Memphis College of Art and her master’s degree from the University of Memphis. Fluent in English and Spanish, Alexa provides speech and language therapy that is culturally responsive, child-led, and play-based. She focuses on each child’s unique interests, strengths, and personality while helping families feel heard, supported, and involved throughout the therapy process. Outside the clinic, Alexa enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with family. Alexa es una patóloga bilingüe del habla y del lenguaje pediátrica que atiende a niños y familias en el condado de DeSoto y el área metropolitana de Memphis. Habla inglés y español con fluidez y ofrece terapia basada en el juego, centrada en las fortalezas, intereses y necesidades únicas de cada niño.
