I have been a patient at Riverhills for years. I have always had great experience. Since Dr Nurre joined the practice, I was fortunate enough to become one of his patients. Dr. Nurre completed an Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in 2024. This advanced training has equipped Dr. Nurre with cutting-edge techniques and the latest innovations in pain management, allowing for the most effective and minimally invasive treatments.
Before the fellowship, Dr. Nurre completed an Anesthesiology Residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA, from 2019 to 2023. During this time, he demonstrated academic excellence by successfully passing both the ABA Basic and ABA Advanced exams, underscoring a deep commitment to the field of anesthesiology and pain management.
Dr. Nurre earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2019, following an exemplary undergraduate career at the University of Cincinnati, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Dr. Nurre has consistently shown a dedication to academic and professional excellence.

Normally we only have approximately 5 minute wait but this time was almost 45 minutes. Things happen so you go with the flow unless it happens all the time. Dr Nurre seems to care.

My experience for this visit was a great experience Amanda is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything that my visit entails. She ask me questions to note verbatim what I’m feeling, where I’m hurting, and why I might be hurting (like have you fell, had a change in physical activity. Then she goes over plan on how I can be treated to help ease the pain or temporary stop the pain.
Enjoyed meeting and talking with Amanda. She was knowledgeable and encouraging.
Amanda has the distinct ability to distill the patients' disparate thoughts and emotions surrounding pain management. Personally, I failed a great rapport with her because of her immediate cut-to-the-chase approach to understanding the patient's current cognitive state, capacity for learning, parsing key elements to pain management moving forward, and best of all supporting the patient's natural way of handling the inevitable aging process using a more organic process mechanical/pharmacological remediation. And, of course, I speak for myself. But, I am certain that she has this ability with all of her patients and patience to come.
